Background
It was time.
Time for Agatha to finally run away from her family after she found out that she’s gonna be her father’s next subject for the experiment. She had no one she could run away with, so she made up the plan all by herself but will she be able to do it all alone?
As a middle child, she was often neglected, even in her own family and that led her to become a loner. The only person that could talk to her was her little sister, the only one who could understand her and not make fun of her. Her mother was rarely in a picture and even if she was, she would always lock herself in her room and not come out. And as for Agatha’s older brother, well it’s hard to say so because they hate each other, ever since her brother started to help their father with crazy experiments he was a totally different person, with an ugly personality.
The day of the experiment, she got called by her father to the basement where he does all of his experiments. It smelled, it smelled so bad that it made Agatha form a disgusted face.
Of course the place would be disgusting, there were lots of body parts of different species or humans and boxes that contained unidentified liquids.
As she sat down on a metal chair, she knew her life would be over after this and reminded herself that she needed to act quickly if she wanted to escape. She already buried her stuff not too far away from her house, so if she did escape her psycho father she would first go there and dig up her stuff and then run away with all of her stuff.
‘Now or never…’ she thought to herself as her father started to tie her legs so she wouldn’t run away, she used her horns to poke his eyes and it worked for only couple of seconds but she did manage to get up and exit the basement but before she she could even do that, her father grabbed her hand and cut the palm of her one hand, marking an X on it.
“This is what happens to everyone if they don’t obey me” he hissed at her and tossed her to the ground, but before he could even react, she stood up quickly and kicked him in the stomach, causing him to fall down.
She ran away.
She managed to run away with all of her things without looking back, her brother probably is coming after her but her only goal is to run away as far as possible from her home.
Several days passed since she left her home and was sleeping outside, she thought at this rate she would die because she hasn’t eaten anything for the past few days. As she slowly closed her eyes, trying to escape reality by sleeping. She noticed a group of fancy looking people in raven masks approaching her, observing her for a couple of seconds and grabbing her stuff.
“Follow us as we take you to your new home,” they said.
