In lore explanation

Named after the bulls they resemble, Tauraxes are big, hulking humanoids adapted to hand-to-hand and primitive combat.

Although they are still intelligent, their thought processes vary from humans in one way: If you have a problem, just beat it for a while to see if it is fixed, then maybe you can think about how to solve it.

Their race background is mostly the same as most other non-human races, they hail from a dimension known to humans as "Hell", they can be considered the Neanderthals to Hell's Imps.

Their apperance is what you'd expect from a giant brute from hell, a mountain of muscle with not much fat to shield from the cold, their most prominent feature - apart from the sheer mass - are their sculpted faces which some people might call attractive.
