Description
The cult of the Ravens, a monodeistic society of ageless beings that worship Luna, The Night Mother.
They are a group of assassins and fighters that take on whatever mission is thrown upon them by The Night Mother,
or as in most cases, by whoever walks in through the front doors of The Tower.
Throughout recorded history, they've come head-to-head with The Vermin and Vultures, as they are sworn enemies
Induction
Every couple centuries or so, a new Raven is chosen by Luna and Ravens are to find this person before their enemies, lest they indoctrinate them into their own cult.
The method the Ravens employ to find these people have changed over time, for example during the golden age, one would know if they were chosen and would voluntarily seek out a Tower to be made a part of the cult.
One can refuse to be indoctrinated, in which case the Ravens will offer them lodging in the Tower if they have nowhere else to go, as a way of keeping chosen ones from falling into the wrong hands.
A good candidate for being selected by Luna is someone that is pure of heart, is driven by a desire for something, is not afraid to take necessary action, and is a downtrodden member of society.
